Do you play a musical instrument? If not, do you want to? Has it ever been a new year’s resolution, or something like that?
Playing a musical instrument benefits you and the community. It helps you because you will be out more (less time watching TV!) and meeting new people, and if benefits the community because they will get to hear lovely music at concerts etc.
Some of you out there may have started a musical when you were younger, but later quit because, maybe, you no longer had the time. But why not start again? I’m sure, if you are careful, you can find time.
If you didn’t play an instrument before, why not start from scratch? Brass bands need players.
This could be a new year’s resolution you could stick to. Start an instrument today. You won’t regret it.
