When was the last time you were scared? What happened? What did you learn? Are you still afraid of that situation? Let me think for a little while…
Ok, I’ve finished thinking. The last time I was scared was probably a few days ago (actually, by the time you read this it will by many weeks ago) when I was climbing down some earth, and I was scared that I would slip and fall to my death… Or, more likely, to a small fall and maybe a bruise.
I was actually fine, and even if I did hurt myself my family were there to save me.
I learnt that my family can help, and that sometimes there really is nothing to be afraid of. Humans can be afraid of a lot of things that are really harmless/not as bad as we think. Instincts make us afraid of things that are harmless, but some of their species are not. Here in the UK, no/very few spiders can hurt people, though a lot of people are still afraid.
