Do you prefer talking or text messaging? Not a hard choice…
If it is just out of those two options (nothing else), then I would probably go for talking. It is much cheaper than texting, you can fit more words into a conversation than a text message, and it doesn’t require a phone. Texting is useful, but talking is generally better in my opinion.
Somewhere in the middle is voicemail. It used to be that voicemail, or messages on your answering machine (remember those?) was a sign of social significance, but how do you feel about voicemail now? Would you rather get an email, a text message, or a voice mail? Why? Long question! I’m not too keen on voicemail, I’ve never had an answering machine at home. Leaving voicemail on phone costs to send and costs to listen to. It costs!
Email vs. text message vs. voicemail. Can I add instant messaging to that?
Out of all of them (including IM), I would choose…. email. It’s free (with the internet fees) and there are tons of features. Email rules!
Other than those listed above, there are many other forms of communication. Like people can message each other on social networking sites like Facebook, Windows Live and Twitter.
Do you prefer to talk or text? What is your chosen form of communication?

Talk or text?
Texting… if only I could just say something and the cell phone would type itself out. Yeah, I would love that very much ^_^.
.
I would rather text first before phoning someone. Just to be polite so that they won’t be in a problem.
Overall i like to text more
I think the Google Nexus S can use voice recognition….
I actually did this one on my blog quite a while back ( http://kristinadianeware.wordpress.com/2011/01/26/3-topics-from-the-daily-press/ )
I have unlimited txting and I txt WAY more than I talk to my friends….Mostly because it’s just easier that way. I also tweet, FB, and email more than I talk too…. I’m not a big vocal talker…
Nowadays it is common for people to text more than talk…
completely the opposite to me
Emailing. Where’s that option. I like to email!
Emailing is great!
Talking! It’s the most personal you can get without physically being in the presence of the person you’re talking to. Sometimes texting is efficient, if you’re just looking for a quick response. For ex: I txt to friend: dinner on the row? Friend texts back in 30 seconds: Yeah, cya at 7.
Agree with that…
I would definitely say TALKING!
xx
1st – I am a very talkative and LOUD and hyperactive sort of person
2nd – I find that you can’t get anything across properly in a text, no feeling or expression(sarcasm;))
3rd – I love to chat… about anything!… Gossip, friends, what you did at the weekend, what your going to do next weekend..ect.
4th – I love being called for a random chat with my best friend or my boyfriend… way better than a text, and it shows you’ve got more time to spend on a person!
Good point – you can’t be sarcastic in a text.
